Notes 1. Greg and Sherry Vera. What on Earth am I here For? That was the question we struggled with on Wed. night. After viewing the video we had our first chance to break into small groups and share our thoughts and insights into the message of the Purpose Driven Life. In our group, we first tackled the notion that God has a plan for our lives. We agreed that we were here for his purposes. Many felt that we had our own choices to make on the journey, as we learn and grow from these choices, into the children of God we were meant to be. Many in our group have been journeying for a while now and so we were able to compare and contrast the new ideas of The Purpose Driven Life, with some of the other ways of looking at our Life’s Journey. There is a lot of comfort to be found in the assertion that we are not alone on our journey and that God has a plan and purpose for our lives. We are looking forward to next week when we discover more about these plans and purposes
Notes 2. Laurie Bennie In our group, we agreed that small positive changes in our attitude blessed us and those around us, because we have grown from being just ego-conscious. Some mentioned their blessing of a relationship with God, some spoke of how our little self is a part of a larger Self, the god within.
